SAMARITAN DERMATOLOGY & RHEUMATOLOGY

The Samaritan Dermatology & Rheumatology Clinic renovation modernized a standalone facility originally constructed in the 1980’s, transforming it into a safe, efficient, and contemporary healthcare environment. The project addressed decades of deferred maintenance, bringing the building into compliance with current life safety codes, accessibility standards, and infection control guidelines. Key upgrades included new fire protection and alarm systems, improved egress routes, ADA-compliant restrooms and entries, and updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure to support modern clinical operations. These essential improvements ensure the clinic provides a secure environment for both patients and staff while extending the life and functionality of the facility for years to come.

Beyond code compliance, the renovation focused on creating a more welcoming and patient-centered setting. Updated finishes, energy-efficient lighting, and intuitive wayfinding contribute to a calm, professional atmosphere aligned with the quality of care provided within. Exam rooms and clinical spaces were updated to enhance workflow, privacy, and accessibility, while durable, easy-to-clean materials promote long-term maintenance and hygiene. The revitalized clinic now reflects Samaritan’s ongoing commitment to excellence—offering a refreshed and healing space that supports both patient comfort and staff performance.
