Krysta Aten-Schell, AIA

Hi, I’m Krysta. I was born & raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho and graduated from the University of Idaho in 2008 with a passionate interest in sustainable design. I am an currently licensed in multiple states and practice primarily in the Mountain West region. I work as an independent architect on small projects and partner with both local and national firms on larger collaborative efforts.

My mission is to “design outside the box” to create solutions that are uniquely suited to my client’s needs and I strive to create architecture focused on human health and well-being first. I have extensive experience with both healthcare design and commercial architecture plus some unique residential projects.

I believe that everyone has a purpose and I exist to serve others by cultivating connection. To me, architecture is the perfect medium to connect people to the environment we come from and the communities that we build together.
