OXFORD ACADEMY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Oxford Academy Central School District engaged in a multi-phased improvement project to bring significant upgrades to the 1930’s-era Middle School, including the creation of new art rooms, a fully renovated cafeteria designed to reflect the building’s original architectural style with a modern touch, and updated main office and restroom facilities. Technology enhancements throughout the building improved both classroom connectivity and instructional capability, supporting a more interactive and engaging learning environment for students and staff alike.

At the High School and Primary School complex, the district modernized the art and technology shop classrooms, constructed a new greenhouse to expand hands-on learning opportunities, and developed new athletic fields complete with a press box and concession building to enhance student and community use. In addition, new elementary classrooms were created to meet growing enrollment needs and provide flexible, light-filled learning environments that support collaboration and wellness. The district utilized Smart Schools funding to further improve wireless technology infrastructure, strengthen building security with upgraded entry points, and implement new lockdown/lockout systems featuring blue light alerts and automated communication—demonstrating their ongoing commitment to safety, innovation, and educational excellence.
